Energy healing involves channeling energy and or vibration to a person to help their body reconfigure itself back to its baseline normal. This is a subtle transaction. Changes take place on a cellular level. During or after a session you may find yourself yawning, stomach gurgling, emotions rising to the surface. These are all signs of energetic shifting. Slowly you will notice changes in your body, your thinking or your responses to the world around you. Physical, emotional or spiritual changes. It is subtle. Grief lightens, pain eases. Some people may feel relief immediately, while others may feel it gradually over time.

I offer 3 Approaches to Energy Healing

Reiki was brought into existence by Macao Usui in Japan in the early 1900’s. He believed Reiki healing was something that everyone should know and practice and should be available to everyone regardless of age or income. Reiki is based in the Shinto world view that the original energy of the physical universe still permeates every aspect of it today. As a practitioner my body becomes a channel for universal healing energy as I direct it to you. The receiver’s body uses its own innate wisdom to direct the energy where healing is needed.
Reiki technique involves placing hands lightly on an individual’s body or holding them just above the body, channeling life force energy to the person receiving.

Sound Healing
Sound healing originated thousands of years ago, with roots in Egypt, Greece, India, and indigenous cultures. Chanting, drumming, bells, bowls, and rattles were used for healing and rituals. Sound healing is somewhat similar to tuning a piano. Our bodies are energy and energy vibrates. When we are out of tune, sound recalibrates our vibration and energy back to a healthy range through entrainment. As a sound healer I create therapeutic sound with crystal bowls, kochi chimes and Tibetan bowls.

Crystal Energy Healing
The Sumerians in Mesopotamia (circa 3000 BC) were the first to document the use of healing stones, followed by the Egyptians who believed that certain stones provided protection and health in the afterlife. The concept of healing stones was central to Ayurvedic medicine, in India (circa 1500BC), where stones were used to balance the body's energy, or chakras.
Crystals and gemstones carry their own frequency developed through creation in time. The stability of a crystal’s energy gently coerces the body’s energetic field into alignment with its vibration. Crystals may be held by the person seeking healing, placed on different chakras of the body or placed in a grid to direct healing.
